During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Please Note: All flights at London Heathrow airport are currently operating from Terminals 2, 3 and 5. Terminal 4 is used for Red List Countries Arrivals.

State of the art terminal is used by approximately 31.9 million passengers pass through its doors on more than 200,000 annual flights.

Terminal 5 is exclusively used by just two airlines; BA and Iberia.

British Airways, with the majority of their flights departing from Terminal 5, fly long haul, Iberia fly to Madrid whilst Iberia Express serve Gran Canaria and Tenerife North.

Checking In; at the Desk, Self Check In and Online.

All of the check in desks can be found on the top floor of Terminal 5. Plenty of airlines now provide their own self service check in desks; if you’re flying with one of these airlines, the airport staff can direct you to the appropriate desks, which will also have their own dedicated bag drop areas. If you like efficiency, check in online and download your boarding pass to your phone, or use the handy app available from your airline; saving you time, and the environment!

Airport Information Points

Passenger ambassadors are present throughout Terminal 5. They wear a purple uniform, and you will find them walking around the terminal in arrivals and departures. They can assist you with directions, information on flights and can even arrange for assistance in other languages.
There is also an Information Zone, which is located on the ground floor near the UK arrivals. Here you can find leaflets, maps and help screens.

From Monday 20th April 2020, Finnair, Qantas, Beijing Capital Airlines and Qatar Airways will temporarily be relocated from Terminals 3 and 4 to Terminal 2. 
From Tuesday 21st April 2020, American Airlines, and Virgin Atlantic will temporarily be relocated from Terminal 3 to Terminal 2.
